AboutUs |
As you read my introduction on the first page you would think Annie's Attic is all about me but I don't do all of this wonderful work alone I do it with my partner and husband Colin. Colin like myself has a passion for reuse, repurpose and never throwing anything away. He has been in the construction business most of his life and run's a successful business in addition to Annie's Attic.
Colin is an extremely talented carpenter and woodworker which shows in his custom furniture and unique accents to our creations.
One of his masterpieces is our restored barn which will double as Annie's Attic Shop, read about it below.

Colin purchased barn and property that we now share back in 2012.
The barn has been a labor of love. It was dilapitated with trees leaning on it and full of the previous owners junk and not the kind we like.
Over the past 7 years and while running his full time construction business he transformed it single handedly.
Starting by cutting down the trees and removing the debris. He leveled it, poured a new floor and added stairs to the second floor. He closed the side walls and fixed the roof.
Then he went inside and added his finishing touches through salvaged items in the spirit of Annie’s Attic.
Then the question was what to do with the barn. I call this the the battle of the barn. We discussed a place to work on old cars(Colin’s other passion). A wood working shop or my favorite, a place for Annie’s Attic.
Fast forward to today. After doing fairs and putting my wares in others shops for years, I felt overwhelmed and burnt out. In the meantime Colin’s muscle car hobby was growing and the decision was made that he would build another barn. I got my way! Hooray.
Starting in 2020 the barn will be open as a shop and we will have Barn Sale's with other local vendors.
Stay tuned.
